I put them in the freezer in the case like this. I bought them to use in my stainless steel water bottle. They do not produce a metal taste, which is great! While they don’t stay ice cold all day, I’d say they stay pretty cold for a least a good 4-6 hours in the insulated water bottle. Super icy for the first hour or so! I usually use 4 for the day, and then swap them out with the cold ones the next morning (I bought the 8-pack). Easy to clean. I really do love them. Very high quality and worth the price tag! "

Cubes chill without watering down!
I'm going to give these five stars, as the only negative to these was my wife's complaint-- she likes crunching ice cubes with her teeth, and these would result in her crunching her teeth with ice cubes. Not cool. Cold, but not cool.

Works great, keeps drinks cold and look stylish
This isn't the first set of metal ice cubes that we've purchased, and they seem pretty much identical to whichever other brand we purchased before. That's good news, because they work great. The reason we originally started using these metallic ice cubes is because the ice cubes in our fridge would get a nasty taste to them from absorbing all the odors of the fridge and freezer, and that nastiness would be transferred to the drinks when they would inevitably melt. Once we found out how well these metallic cubes worked, we decided to get more so we wouldn't have to clean them so often. Not that they're hard to clean by any means, we're just lazy.

Doesn’t water down my ice tea!!!
I’m not a big cocktail or liquor drinker, but am passionate Ice Tea! I keep my ice tea refrigerated, but because I sip at it all day in a large insulated container, it turns into a tea flavored water before I’m done with it. I bought 4 sets of these beauties! I use 2 sets in my insulated cup and keep 2 sets in a baggie along with another insulated cup (separately) in the freezer, and change them out after about 6 hours. It keeps my tea near frosty! I love that they are stainless steel. I had some plastIc ice cubes, but they didn’t last very long. These stainless steel cubes last so much longer. They stay icy cold for hours and keep my ice tea at the temperature I like. I use fresh lemon in my tea and they clean up beautifully. I simply add a drop of liquid dish soap to my cup, add water, and shake it up! I rinse them well, drop them back into my quart size freezer bag, and put the in the freezer. These are a perfect gift for everyone! Who doesn’t like an icy cold beverage. They are also perfect for milk drinkers who love it COLD! Soda drinkers! Yes please! And the container it comes with! Classy! I highly recommended this to my family!

Great for iced coffee
Wonderful. Doesn't dilute my iced coffee and chills it fast. Only drawback is I have to be careful dropping them in a glass since they are heavy and hard. I wash them, half dry them, and pile them in a bowl in the freezer and it works great.

Great stones
They really keep drinks cold….wine, martini, scotch, whiskey…whatever you want cold but not diluted with ice. Easy to clean and use and stay cold a long time. We use them a lot. I bought some for myself, and then bought more for gifts for family.

Nice looking, good quality
The whiskey stones came in a really nice plastic container that easily fits in my freezer! The plastic seems to be high quality and probably won’t degrade from repeated freezing. The stones themselves are a nice shiny stainless steel. Admittedly, they look a little large for some glasses. I had worried that there might be seams in the steel since they’re filling with a gel, but no seams are visible! I used them to chill white wine since I forgot to throw the bottle in the fridge early. My glass of wine was chilled in seconds and stayed cold for quite a while! The outer box looks nice too—would make a great gift.

Does the job! 78 F to 70 F for 8 Oz of water.
Those ice cubes are pretty good! The design is awesome! They look absolutely gorgeous, they don't get scratch easily and that matters a lot to me. They get a little slippery if you don't serve them right after you take them out of the freezer, but it's just take some practice. I tried to leave them in the freezer for one full week, then put one ice cube in 8 Oz of water and wait for temperature stabilization. The water dropped from 78 F to 70 F in a couple of minutes, and it stayed under 72 F for around 20 - 25 min. I used them at a party I held, and everyone thought they were awesome for wine!

Keeps drinks cold for quite a while without diluting them
I occasionally like a drink in the evening. While some liquors actually taste a little better with a little water in them, some don't. I like an Irish Cream sometimes and found that adding ice waters it down very quickly, spoiling the rich taste. These cubes keep the drink just as cold as ice, if not a little colder and cannot water a drink down. Also, I can't detect any change in taste from just drinking the liquor straight. Should have got these years ago.
