read full review"Since this is handheld (on the phone) in order to stabilize the view it is set to focus with the camera resting on the surface of what you are viewing. Depending on the depth of what you are viewing, the focal point may be a bit further out which can be achieved by tilting the phone or putting a ring of paper or thin card stock around the item as long as it doesn’t obscure the light. It can be used while plugged in but it has a very healthy battery life. It gives definition that equals a hand held 30X magnifying glass (in my experience), the benefit being you can take a picture or video of what you are seeing. From there you can expand the image on your phone but you will not get more detail. "

Well worth the low price.
Unbelievably sharp pictures might make you think it’s an expensive lens, but it's not. The compact size of the lens, its ease of use and its low price make it an item that anyone and everyone should purchase. Even if you have no need of it, I’ve found it to be fun and interesting to use.

Nice little attachment for your iPhone
If you want to take nice up close pictures, I definitely recommend this product. The pictures I took and added are of my arm and the back of my cats fur. This is a fun attachment. The price is right.

takes a min to line up right but wow its amazing even on my cheap smart phone
i am really impressed with how amazing this works ya have to line it up good then hold what your looking at directly to it just about and all the sudden ya can see things that your eye never could

Amazing! My son loves this
Great product. My son enjoys looking at all different things under his microscope. It is small so easy to bring places. Very interesting to see in micro world without a big bulky microscope.
