"As far as bang for buck goes, this little ball spins WAY above its price tag. First thing, watch a video on YouTube (or similar) on how to get this little thing spinning, so to speak. You will save yourself considerable aggravation. Once you do get it going, you'll be feeling the burn in your forearms within seconds. The more adept you get, the faster you'll be able to make it spin, and the more efficient you will become at getting it up to speed. Been using it for about five weeks now, and I can get the rotation to jet engine speeds, and it blasts every muscle in your forearm. You'll also be amazed how quickly you build up to holding it at high speed for a considerable amount of time. I wrecked my wrists with a 300lb hand grip many years ago, and the tendons never really came back. This is the first time I've been able to seriously work my forearms, and a significant portion of the lost strength has returned quickly. Once you get the hang of it, you'll wonder how you ever trained without it. "

"Extremely useful. It helps a lot with wrist pain. For some friends itā€™s been a little difficult to get the hang of how it works, but for me was pretty easy. "

"I purchased the plastic polymer Black Version first. It was light and starts immediately (for me). I decided I wanted the heavier model as well to test them both out so I purchased the crush metal. At first I thought it was broken but it really does take a lot of feel when you're finding the groove of the motion. Starting out slower and feeling the centrifugal force than picking up speed until it really kicks in. I love them both. The heavier weight of the crush metal really makes a difference but both are adequately effective (rehab vs strength)(stress relief for both). Once you get the hang of it you can change the way you work out specific areas. You can isolate the top of the forearm then subsequently isolate the bottom. It just requires technique so I can understand why there are some people that are giving this negative reviews. Just don't give up on it until you get the hang of it "

    Works great.

Great exercise for your hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow

My doc suggested that I try this to get rid of my "golf elbow" (which is a pain in the arm, like tennis elbow in reverse). It worked! It takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of winding up the internal spring with your thumbs, then wrapping your hand around the ball, then moving the hand and arm to add energy to the spinning gyro. Once you get it, like riding a bike, you won't forget how. The lights and the sound let you know how much energy you are putting into it -- but you will know because your arm will start to ache within less than a minute. It's serious resistance work and great for toning up some arm and hand muscles. Change hands and make sure the second arm is getting the workout, while you rest the first one...

    Once I figured it out...

I hated this for about 10 minutes. The instructions were weird only because of the arrows on the bottom of the device have nothing to do with anything, and I thought they meant something. LOL. You just look at the arrows on the black strips on the silver ball, and keep pushing them that direction until they get super duper tight. It's a winding up type of thing. Sometimes it wouldn't tighten for me until I tilted slightly. But once you push it so far that you really aren't strong enough to push it forward, let it go and then move your wrist REALLY SUBTLY like you are stirring tea or soup. It will eventually start to feel like tension is building and it gets easier after that. Once you figure out how to do it, you'll never look back! The only thing after that is not overdoing it because it's sort of addictive when you first get the hang. Don't give up!

    Honest Review

This item is as intended to be with no issues for me. Definitely good to work both my forearms and wrists more frequently and conveniently. Overall a great product came with a case and had no problems with any damages. The price is great and you get your moneyā€™s worth.

    Proud Owner of two.

I love the all metal construction of this gyro ball. I bought it specifically for the all metal and extra weight. I have a plastic one by a different company, and this ball is definitely better all around. It spins smoother and just feels more premium. I keep this spinner in my car and use it during my commute every day. It's definitely very effective at increasing strength in grip, wrist, forearm and biceps. Definitely worth the extra money over plastic models. The only thing I would change is to have the wind-up feature easier to hold while winding, with either some texture or rubber inserts for traction while turning with thumbs (I'm taking about on the gyroscope, part that spins) Would buy again!

Takes a sec but this thing wrecks!

I just let my mom and brothers try it & they couldn't get it to actually "humm" the way I did.. the spin would die out after 15 seconds or so for them & put out zero force.. you just gotta figure it out, it's going to be a muscle memory kind of dealio. That being said.. I use buckets of rice, dumbbells, a weighted staff, bullring, pull up bars & stall bars with ball hanging attachments.. I love spinach, forearm exercises & Popeye the sailor.. This thing is legit. It had my muscles too stiff to use it just trying to demonstrate to my family HOW to use it. Once you get the actual gyro going, this thing tenses you up, hitting spots on my wrist that only the rice bucket hits (my personal fav). This thing is fun, totally good for trying to make yourself feel better for being lazy or getting that extra destruction after a solid workout. Feels like a science toy, I would suggest this just look up a video & give it more than one try.

    Great product

Easy to use, and it is really durable. I have average sized hands (m) and it fits well in my hand. My girlfriend who is about 5ā€™2 has a harder time but can still use it. It is a little loud but not anything more than other brands I have used.

Once you get used to it

Amazing my grip and forearm have become so much stronger. The mobility of my wrist has increased fantastic product and well satisfied.
